At a glance
The meeting is working on 6G UE grouping, channel modelling, measurement priorities, and UAV mobility requirements. UE grouping proposals differ on eligibility and on how measurement results should be shared. Channel model proposals address array spacing and correlation calibration. Other proposals examine overlapping measurement demands and whether existing reselection requirements suit aerial mobility.

6G UE group for RRM
Significance 56 of 100, 19 TDocs
One proposal groups UEs using RSRP/RSRQ variation over time, with relaxed calibration measurements at the non-primary UE. An alternative would allow grouping when at least one criterion is met. Sharing proposals distinguish configuration exchange from primary-to-non-primary results, while another prefers network-mediated result sharing. A separate concern cites tens to hundreds of milliseconds of transmission delay over Bluetooth or Wi-Fi.
Channel modelling proposals address how array geometry enters the correlation matrix used in simulation. One offers normalized adjacent-element spacing of 0.5 or 1, or folds spacing into the calibrated parameter. Another proposes fixing the exponent at 2 to simplify calibration and maintain physical consistency. Both choices concern how the correlation matrix is defined for simulation.
The exponent parameter x should be fixed to 2 to simplify simulation calibration and keep physical consistency, resulting in the baseline formula: (d,α)= .

Sub-topic 1: Measurement and/or reporting procedures based on measurement purpose and demand
Significance 41 of 100, 17 TDocs
Unified measurement procedures raise a scheduling question when different measurement purposes overlap. One proposal calls for studying priorities between link management, mobility, and OD measurements during an OD operation window. Another would let the network set relative priority when a network-triggered OD measurement collides with a UE-autonomous prioritized measurement. Without an explicit indication, that proposal puts autonomous RLM and BFD ahead of OD measurement.
UAV cell reselection is one part of the RRM core requirements under discussion. One proposal would reuse high-speed train cell reselection requirements by default for a UAV UE with an antenna array. Another argues existing requirements cannot meet mobility needs for a phased-array UAV UE at 2 km inter-site distance and 160 km/h. The opposing proposals put that reuse default in question for the stated aerial conditions.
Proposals already uploaded where companies take opposing positions on the same point. These are proposals, not decisions.
